Class activities for Tuesday, April 14
Spelling: None today due to the M-STEP English Language Arts test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to the M-STEP English Language Arts test.
Writing: Today, we talked about ways to find trustworthy sources of information. The text of the website, its web address, and the images on the site can give clues about if a site is trustworthy, or if the information is not reliable.
Students continued to collect research for the I-Search informational research project, due on May 1. Students will share their research as a digital presentation during our I-Search Conference on May 1.
Math: None today due to the M-STEP English Language Arts test.

It would be helpful for students to continue working on these skills at home if they haven’t had enough time in class to master them.
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy, and to work on MobyMax FactMaster for 5 minutes.
Science: None today due to the M-STEP English Language Arts test.
Social Studies: We learned about the government and governor’s palace in Williamsburg during colonial times.
- Students will be taking the M-STEP (Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress) test several days each week for the next three weeks. Please make sure students get enough sleep and a good breakfast!
