Class activities for Tuesday, May 5
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Students began reading monologues to the class to practice speed, tone, accuracy, and volume.
Writing: We continued working on digital stories today, and we’ll be working on this for the remainder of the week.
Math: Students used MobyMax to practice math skills today.

It would be helpful for students to continue working on these skills at home if they haven’t had enough time in class to master them.
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy, and to work on MobyMax FactMaster for 5 minutes.
Science: Today we learned what causes the changing phases of the moon. Homework is to finish analysis 1-5 on p. 47.
Social Studies: We learned about three Patriots and their reasons for wanting independence. Homework is to read about Patrick Henry on pp. 156-159.
