Class activities for Monday, April 25

Spelling: None today.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.

Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles; some groups worked on questioning and visualizing as reading strategies.

Writing: Students worked on revising conferences today and revising slides for their presentation. The I-Search project is due on April 29. Students will share their research as a digital presentation during our I-Search Conference (see schedule) on April 29.

Homework is to work on writing for at least 15 minutes.

Math: Students practiced division skills at MobyMax or Khan Academy today. This is our final week to work on division skills.

Science: Students completed a space miniquiz and then made new minibooks to collect notes for our unit on studying life.

Social Studies: We learned how a bill is made into a law.
