Class activities for Friday, November 30

Spelling: We worked on our Leadership Notebooks. Today we added something to celebrate, such as an award, a good grade, or a goal reached. We also started to think about a goal to achieve for this marking period.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.

Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles.

Writing: Students wrote prewriting comments to a partner and also worked on drafting.

A narrative story (personal or fiction) is due Sunday, December 16. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes. Your student should have their draft started by now.

Math: We practiced two-digit multiplying today. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.

Science: None today.

Social Studies: We reviewed Chapter 2 about European Explorers. We will have a test about this topic on Monday.

Character Strength: We are learning about the #OtherPeopleMatter mindset this week.

Our Mission:
All students in Room 130 will do their best and get ready for 6th grade.
