Class activities for Tuesday, May 21
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.
Reading: We did some reading with social studies materials and also used the Epic reading app to read.
Writing: Students started drafting their Find It, Decide It research project. Students are working in partners to research a topic and make an informed decision. This project will be due Sunday, June 2. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes.
Math: We worked on finding the area of rectangles using fractions. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: Students wrote a scientific explanation of how emulsifiers help oil and water to mix.
Social Studies: Students completed a digital review and quiz about the Articles of Confederation.
