Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 39-41 are available and due on Friday.
Reading: Today was a reading skills practice day with MobyMax Foundational Reading and Reading Stories.
Writing: We talked about editing for dialogue by using quotation marks, commas, and periods.
Students also worked on editing.
A fiction story is due Sunday, December 15. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes. Your student should be editing for dialogue punctuation, spelling, paragraphs, and other mistakes.
Science: Today was a health and nutrition lesson about getting 60 minutes of exercise.
Social Studies: Students completed a MiniQuiz about checks and balances and we started to learn about the Bill of Rights.
Character Strength: We are learning about humility this week.
- Our field trip to the Michigan Capitol and Historical Museum is tomorrow, Thursday, December 12. Students need to arrive at school at 7:15 am and will need a sack lunch with disposable containers.
