Class activities for Friday, October 23
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 13-15 are available and due on Friday.
Reading: Today was a reading skills and AR practice day.
Writing: Students worked on drafting their narrative today. This personal narrative is due Friday, November 6. Your student should be getting to the middle of their draft at this point.
Math: We used MobyMax Math to practice math skills today.
Here’s a skill we’ve been working on lately (and some students are struggling with) that your student could work on at home:
Homework is to practice MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for at least 15 minutes.
Science: Students completed an experiment today that involved floating a magnetized paperclip on a piece of paper, creating a “compass.” Homework if to finish the Getting Directions experiment if not done in class.
Social Studies: None today due to our math skills practice time.
