Class activities for Monday, December 9
Spelling: Students completed a spelling and skill test today.
Cursive: Cursive workbook pp. 52-57 are due on Monday.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: None today due to our technology time.
Our current piece of writing is a fiction story, due Monday, December 16. Your student should be revising by now.
Math: We practiced mental math strategies for adding and subtracting. The corresponding Journal page is P4-1. Students also practiced math skills using MobyMax.
Science: We reviewed some ideas about being safe with electricity.
Social Studies: Students completed a MiniQuiz today about incentives. We also started to learn about specialization and division of labor.
