Class activities for Friday, May 23

Spelling: None today.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Friday.

Reading: None today due to students completing a STAR Math test.

Writing: Students continued to work with partners on their Find It, Decide It research project. This piece is due Friday, May 30.

Math: We continued practicing fractions today. We used Khan Academy to practice these skills:

Homework is to work on MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for 15 minutes or more, and to level up on the skills listed above if not done in class.

Science: We talked about how changes in the environment can affect a food chain or web.

Social Studies: We read, A River Ran Wild, about how humans polluted and then restored the Nashua River in Massachusetts. Students wrote notes about human actions and consequences. Homework is to finish the notes if not completed in class.
