Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.

Writing: Students worked on editing their current story. A fiction story is due Monday, November 24. Your student should be editing by now.
Math: We reviewed multiplying larger numbers today.
Here are some of the skills we’ve been working on lately. These would be good skills to practice at home.
- Multiplying 2 digits by 2 digits with area models
- Multiplying 2 digits by 2 digits
- Multi-digit multiplication
- Powers of ten
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: We reviewed body systems, genetics, and how animals use physical and behavior traits for survival. We’ll have a test about these ideas tomorrow.
Social Studies: We started to learn about the “first come, first served” attitude about European explorers coming to the New World.
