Class activities for Wednesday, November 19

Spelling: Today was a preview of upcoming spelling words.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.

Reading: Student finished performing their Literature Circles projects to share their book with the class.

Writing: Students worked on editing conferences today. A fiction story is due Monday, November 24. Your student should be editing by now.

Math: We practiced drawing pictures and writing equations to help solve number stories.

Here are some of the skills we’ve been working on lately. These would be good skills to practice at home.

Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.

Science: Students completed a test today about body systems, genetics, and how animals use physical and behavior traits for survival.

Social Studies: None today due to our reading skills and AR practice time.

Our Mission:
All students in Room 130 will do their best and get ready for 6th grade.
