Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was our reading skills and AR practice time.
Writing: None today.
A fiction story is due Monday, November 24. Your student should be publishing by now. Homework is to finish publishing by Monday.
Math: Students worked with a partner on a practice test about multiplication.
Here are some of the skills we’ve been working on lately. These would be good skills to practice at home.
- Multiplying 2 digits by 2 digits with area models
- Multiplying 2 digits by 2 digits
- Multi-digit multiplication
- Powers of ten
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: None today.
Social Studies: We wrote notes about Christopher Columbus and John Cabot today.
