Class activities for Wednesday, February 3
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Cursive pages 49-51 are available and due on Friday.
Reading: Students continued working on reader’s theatre plays to practice reading fluency and to share their book with the class.
Writing: Students worked on drafting their literary essay today. Homework is to work on writing for at least 15 minutes. A literary essay will be due Friday, February 12; here’s a

Math: Students practiced math skills using MobyMax Math today. Here are some skills we’ve been working on lately:
- Multiply a 1-digit number by a multiple of 10, 100, and 1000
- Multiplying tens
- Multiplication without regrouping
- Multiplication with carrying
Homework is to practice MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for at least 15 minutes.
Science: None today due to our reading skills and AR practice time.
Social Studies: Students completed a MiniQuiz about public goods and services today.
