Class activities for Wednesday, May 11
Spelling: We reviewed common spelling patterns for the /j/ sound: j, dge, ge, gi, gy. This will be the skill tested on next week’s spelling test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to the M-STEP science test.
Writing: None today due to the M-STEP science test.
A collection of poems will be due Friday, May 20.
Math: We worked on adding and subtracting fractions today. Homework is to practice MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for at least 15 minutes.
Science: None today due to the M-STEP science test.
Social Studies: Students worked in groups to make digital presentations with pictures of famous land and water forms of the US.
