Class activities for Friday, April 26
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.
Reading: None today due to our I-Search Conference.
Writing: Students shared their research at our I-Search Conference today! There were many compliments from teachers and the student audience had a lot of questions for the presenters! You can see the presentations here.
Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes.
Math: We practiced subtracting mixed numbers with regrouping again. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: Students worked on building their car and jet engine for the JetToy Challenge competition.
Social Studies: We read about the Boston Tea Party and other ways the colonists rebelled.
Character Strength: We are learning about appreciation of beauty and excellence this week.

- One way to get your student ready for middle school is to have them do a Daily Homework Time of 15 minutes of math and writing every day.
