Class activities for Friday, May 3
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.
Reading: None today due to taking a climate and safety survey.
Writing: None today due to the Jet Toy Challenge race.
A collection of poems will be due Sunday, May 19. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes.
Math: None today due to art. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: Today students tried to dissolve cumin, citric acid, sugar, and pepper and tasted the solutions. Sugar and citric acid dissolved, but the cumin and pepper did not.
Social Studies: We read about how the Second Continental Congress formed an army and formed a committee to write the Declaration of Independence.
Character Strength: We are learning about purpose this week.
