Class activities for Wednesday, February 5
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Friday.
Reading: We practiced reading skills with MobyMax today.
Writing: We talked about using a quote from the book as evidence to add strength to an essay.
Students also worked on drafting their literary essay. A literary essay is due Tuesday, February 11. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes. Students should have their draft finished tonight with five paragraphs.

Math: We practiced telling the difference between composite and prime numbers. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: None today due to the late start.
Social Studies: None today due to the late start.
Character Strength: We are learning about forgiveness this week.
