Class activities for Friday, February 28

Spelling: None today. We’ll be working on our leadership notebooks during spelling this week.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.

Reading: We read an article about what a market economy is like.

Writing: Students worked on publishing their persuasive letter to the editor today.

A persuasive letter is due Sunday, March 1. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes.

Here are some resources to help with this project:

Math: None today due to art. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.

Science: We read about how different animals use vibrations to send sound waves through air, water, or the ground in order to communicate.

Social Studies: We read and wrote notes about market economies.

Character Strength: This week was about zest and enthusiasm.
