Class activities for Wednesday, November 4
Spelling: Today we practiced sorting words by short and long vowel sounds. This will be the skill tested on tomorrow’s spelling test.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 19-21 are available and due on Friday.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Today was an editing day. Students worked on editing their own writing for spelling, capital letters, and sentence sense. This personal narrative is due Friday, November 6. Your student should be editing at this point.
Math: Today we practiced looking for an extending patterns in tables.
Students also worked on patterns skills here:
Homework is to practice MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for at least 15 minutes.
Science: Students completed a magnetism MiniQuiz.
Social Studies: None today due to a physical education nutrition lesson.
