We also talked about potential helpful ideas that could be used for the  next piece of writing, a persuasive letter about an idea to improve our school or community. Here is more information about this project. The persuasive letter will be due Friday, March 5.

Math: We started practicing measurement with the metric system. Today, students measured several objects to the nearest centimeter. Homework is to finish Math Boxes 4.7.

Our party was so good, it was scary, literally! We sang some love songs (brotherly love songs!), passed out our cards and ate sloppy joes, chips, and fruit. Feb Factor games included sticking conversation hearts, slurping gummy hearts, affixing stickers, and munching cranberries. Stay tuned for pictures! Thanks to everyone who donated food and supplies; we had more than enough! A big thanks to all the family members that helped serve food, cleanup and setup games!
