Thursday, December 15th, 2011Spelling: We reviewed soft syllable ending words: fountain, captain, curtain, and again.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 51-53 are available and due Friday.
Reading: None today due to rehearsal for the fourth grade musical.
Writing: We talked about stopping run-on sentences by using periods to separate ideas into their own sentences.
The next piece of writing is a fiction story, due Monday, December 19. Students should be editing or publishing at this time.
Math: None today due to rehearsal for the fourth grade musical.
Science: We talked about how more electricity added to a circuit will transform into more light and heat.
Social Studies: We started to learn about the global economy and how it is affected by prices, labor, and quality.
