Reading: Today was a MobyMax Reading Skills practice or AR test day.

Writing: None today.

A collection of poems will be due Monday, May 19.

Math: We continued practicing fractions today. We used Khan Academy to practice three skills:

Homework is to work on MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for 15 minutes or more, and to level up on the skills listed above if not done in class.

Science: We learned about what food is for plants. Humans need to take food into their bodies to grow. But plants can get about half their growth just by combining carbon dioxide from air and water. The plants use the air and water to make sugars, and about half of a plant’s leaves, stems, roots, and wood is made from sugars. Homework is to finish the Is it food for plants? review page.

Social Studies: We learned about the physical landforms of the US, and made a made to show the mountains, plains, plateaus, valleys, and basins were.
